With Water Blast coming out on Tuesday and our current group finished with DA and a few other end game things it seems like the perfect time to break out the lowbies once again!
So next week we'll send the 50s off with a bang and do an Eden Trial (39-41+)!
Afterward we'll regroup, pass around SG invites and do a couple Death from Below runs and see where that takes us, time and level wise.
You have about a week to figure out what you're bringing on the new round. I'll be on SHINING FINGER, a G-Gundam tribute toon, Elec/Titan Tank. When you figure out what you're bringing, drop a comment here so we have an idea of what the team will be on the new round.
I wanted to remind you all of what I said last week; our arrive and start time has been sliding ever forward lately, myself included. Everyone should be logging in 5-10mins before go time, 8pm E/5pm P so we can assemble, switch toons if necessary, and launch into action. I try to have a plan in place before Monday, so if you've forgotten since last week, just hop on any Pelican and check the SG MotD as I'm pretty good about keeping that updated.
And I wanted to apologize to Eryn, who I inadvertently ended up calling out directly at the end of the play session last week. That was not my intention and I am sorry.
Monday we will be finishing Belladonna Vetrano's then jumping into the WST: Numina. Any Hero/Vigilante 35+. Come for the extra XP or the Notice! If we happen to have time left over we'll do a Double Feature, maybe pick up some badges.
From now on I'll also provide whatever level/etc requirements are(/if) necessary for the upcoming play session in case extra preparations need to be taken care of before go time.
See you all Monday evening!
This week we got through the first two contacts in DA, Heather Townsend and Mu'Vorkan.
Next week Patrick and I will not be attending so take a holiday. A few on vent said they would like a small break, expecting complications Monday anyway.
5/14 we will resume with the next contact, Max. Again, because of our over-full attendance lately, team preference will be given to 50s doing the arcs.
I'm really curious where the native 50s working on getting XP and components from the arcs will be once we finish the final arc, so if you're in that camp, please don't do trials and such to bolster your gains. Alpha stuff like for Notice of the Well is fine.
See you all in two weeks!
Congratulations to everyone that hit 50 this week!
Next week we'll be starting the DA arcs. Since we've had issues lately with over-full teams, priority space will be given to those that are bringing 50s working on the arcs.
Make sure you speak with Captain Nolan (he's in your contacts list and in PI near the police station) and do the intro to DA arc before our play session so we can jump right in with the first arc. Heather Townsend is the first contact, so you should have her first mish on queue when you head to the base on Monday.
See you all next week!
Hey hey all, this is a reminder that your mission drop is available again.
Make sure you drop both the 'defeat all ghosts' and 'defeat all clockwork' missions from Unai before Monday.
This is a reminder to make sure you drop the 'Defeat all Clockwork at factory' mission AND whatever the defeat all Ghosts mission is before our next session.
We will finish Unai's arc next week then probably take on a few of his random missions before moving on to other stuff.
Week after next the WST is Sutter, which is our plan. Expect to do WWD pt7 the first week of April.
Heyla Pelicans, I have once again been remiss in posting reminders.
Well no big deal this upcoming Monday; our focus will be mostly casual teaming. The plan is a mix of Heroic tips, Tina Mac one-off missions for more Praetorian AV smashing goodness, and SSA pt5. That last bit requires level 40 and VIP access or that you purchased the arc with points.
Currently the long plan is to continue with this set of toons post-50 doing TFs and whatnot for components and general shard-drop goodness. We will also work through the new DA arcs when i22 goes live. Consider who you'd like to bring post-50 if you're not up for the Incarnate game on your current Pelican.
That's all and see you Monday!
Hello all, and I hope the winter gift giving holiday treated you well!
As a reminder we are not meeting this Monday. Enjoy your time off.
Next week we'll resume as normal with Who Will Die pts 2, 3 and 4. So if you haven't hit 30 by the 2nd you have homework. As a note, I have been naughty and hit 32.
Take care, rest well and see you again soon, fellow Pelicans.
It's time to round 'em up and start anew once again.
What do you plan on bringing? I imagine most of us will be starting with fresh level 1s or 2s. But let's hear it, archetype and power sets, or if you're not sure, post and either or. If you wanted to instead bring an existing toon (Quas?) speak up.
As for the how of the start, should we start in Paragon as usual, or should we take a different road? With the new tutorial we can start redside, do some content there and then switch to blue in our 20s. I don't think starting in Praetoria is necessary this go'round.
I'm considering bringing a Scrapper to the mix; it'd complete my Pelican hero AT Pentagram. Most likely I'd bring a Street Justice toon. I can come up with a Corrupter on the fly tho', if we end up buff/debuff light.
ETA: Gonna go ahead and call 'blue start' on this one since you guys don't seem to want to make a call. We'll be meeting in the base as always, so if you need a supergroup invite we'll get that arranged or pick you up on Monday.
Plan to do the new lowbie arcs out of Atlas, and we'll stick a DFB run or two in there as well.
Hey hey Pelicans! As a reminder, tonite we're doing a RWZ Mothership raid!
I just checked and they start forming/kicking off at 7pm Eastern. Since it's Virtue I highly recommend you be in the RWZ no later than 6:30pm. I plan on being there by 6pm, just in case.
I suggest you hop to Oro first and start a flashback mission (from an RWZ contact, even) so you can then TP to the contact and just hang out either in the Vanguard base or at Point Du Hoc until raid time. Go do something else for 40mins or so. It's Virtue and the zone fills fast.
I will be on Bennie tonite and willing to assemble the team but I can't hold the star once we get rocking.
Patrick sends his best but won't be home in time for our aliens curbstomp. We'll salute him in spirit by holding back the invasion and joining in on Talk Like a Pirate Day!
If you haven't yet, start thinking about what you want your new Pelican to be. I'm pretty sure I'll be bringing a Scrapper to the new round. Let's start discussion on the newbies plan. You want to run thru a set of Praetorian arcs again, or should we try out the new lowbie content for red/blue?
Before that happens we have a few Pelicans from last round closing in on 50 and we'll be sure to get you there first.
See you all tonite! I'll be posting a reminder on Twitter as well.
